New output path for human actions
We want to tell you about a feature enhancement that is sure to be popular. There’s a new “Reassigned” output path for human actions. This feature allows you to easily configure workflow routing triggered when work is transferred to another actor.
To be honest, the OOB “Reassigned” output option is probably long overdue as a feature. We’re happy to report that we finally got it done!
As the name implies, the “Reassigned” output path is triggered when a work item, such as an approval, is transferred from one individual to another.
A good use case would be to pair it with an Update Status action that will display the reassignment details in Request History.
You’d also want to add an Email action using Send to Work Assignees to notify the new assignee of their pending work.
