Accelerated Service Catalog Modeling Two-Day Workshop
The Service Catalog Quick Start program begins with Third Sky's two-day "Accelerated Service Catalog Modeling” Workshop, grounded in the industry good practice guidelines of the ITIL® version 3 framework and enhanced through Third Sky’s extensive, hands-on experience in helping our clients to develop their Service Catalogs.
Under the guidance of an experienced Third Sky consultant, your Service Catalog team will learn the importance of an effective Service Catalog to their overall IT Service Management (ITSM) activities. Then, via hands-on exercises leveraging Third Sky’s “real world” templates and examples, your team will be guided through the definition of your organization’s services and the creation of its Service Catalog. Service details are captured in the PMG SaaS solution, capturing tangible output that will energize the team and build momentum for completing the Service Catalog. |

Turning Knowledge into Practice: Creating an Actionable Service Catalog with PMG
With the support of Third Sky’s mentoring consulting, your Service Catalog team will continue working with the PMG instance, building on the content from the Service Catalog workshop.

Deliverable Details |
“Accelerated Service Catalog Modeling” Workshop - This is a two-day instructor-led session for up to ten (10) participants. The purpose of the session is to broaden and deepen participants’ understanding of Service Catalog and to assist them in beginning the work of modeling their organization’s own catalog.
Specific workshop outputs that will be captured in PMG include:
- The hierarchy of all business services identified for your organization, leveraging the Third Sky template taxonomy.
- Ten (10) service requests that include the service description, order form and specifications for the approval and fulfillment workflow.
Post-Workshop Mentoring – Third Sky will provide a minimum of forty (40) hours of post-workshop Service Catalog mentoring services to facilitate your team’s completion of their draft Service Catalog.
Three (3) month PMG Subscription – Your organization will receive a 3-month subscription to the populated PMG instance from the workshop, enabling your Service Catalog team to continue to use PMG to capture, organize, and publish Service Catalog content. This subscription includes:
- Three (3) months access to the SaaS instance of PMG Enterprise, providing the following functionality:
